Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to "Yes" if, during Donald Trump's second term as President of the United States, the U.S. government takes control of the Panama Canal through military action, legislative measures, or any other means resulting in the U.S. assuming authority over the canal's operations. The resolution will be based on official announcements from the U.S. or Panamanian governments, credible news reports, or other verifiable sources. If no such event occurs by the end of Trump's second term, the market will resolve to "No."
