Resolution criteria

The posts linked below contain a list of the 50 largest cities in Donbass based on 2022 population estimates, including the coordinates of three different locations in each city:

• 50 largest cities in Donbas (post-2016 names in Ukrainian)

• 50 largest cities in Donbass (pre-2016 names in Russian)

For the purpose of this market, a city is controlled by Ukraine if Ukraine has de facto control of all three of the specified locations according to Suriyakmaps (interactive map).

This market will resolve to the number of cities controlled by Ukraine at the close date.

Close date

This market will close at 23:59:00 UTC on 31 December 2026 and will not resolve sooner.
