What if they do the same thing they did with v3/R1 previously and release a dated-but-not-incremented version?

@moozooh I am specifically asking about 3.3 here, not 3.2-0131 or anything like that. But since 3.2-0131 is not a higher version it would not rule out a 3.3 release later.
