Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to the total reported outstanding debt (in British Pounds, £) owed by Daniel Lord on January 1st, 2027.

The debt is whatever is reported by Daniel himself. It must include his "mom debt" (the personal loan/money owed to his mother, Cammie).

Assets, savings, investments, expected income, and money owed to Daniel will not be deducted unless Daniel explicitly reports a single net-debt figure intended to represent his total debt.

• Verification Source: Resolution will be determined by Daniel’s own self-reported financial updates in his YouTube videos or livestreams (on his channel Hiding in my room), his Instagram posts (@danielhimr), or his messages on the unofficial Discord server under the username notdaniel0594_05557.

• Timing: The market will use the financial update published between December 15, 2026, and January 15, 2027, that most clearly describes Daniel’s debt on, or closest to, January 1, 2027. If Daniel does not provide any financial update during this window, the most recent documented update prior to December 15, 2026, will be used.

• Ambiguity & Fallback: If Daniel reports individual debt balances rather than a total, those balances will be added together. If a balance is reported in another currency, it will be converted to pounds using the exchange rate applicable on the date described by the update.

• When Daniel gives conflicting figures, priority will be given to:

  • A figure explicitly described as his total current debt

  • A complete itemized breakdown

  • The most recent clear statement concerning the applicable date

  • If Daniel’s statements remain incomplete or irreconcilable, community spreadsheets and contemporaneous stream summaries from r/HIMRFAM2 or r/HIMRFAM may be used as secondary evidence. The market creator will resolve to the figure best supported by the available evidence.

  • The result will be rounded to the nearest whole pound.
