Zohran Mamdani has been elected as NYC's next mayor, making free buses a near-term policy possibility. This market resolves to the year when at least 10% of NYC's bus lines (approximately 30+ of the 300+ routes) offer free rides to all passengers. Resolution will be determined by official MTA announcements or NYC government statements confirming the implementation date. If free bus rides are only offered to some population only (e.g., only NY residents, only the elderlies), that is not sufficient for this market to resolve.
