The announcement must be made by an official U.S. government source (e.g., White House press release, federal agency announcement such as DOE, NSF, NIST, or similar) or reported by major reputable news outlets (e.g., Reuters, AP, Bloomberg) with clear attribution to an official U.S. government funding decision.

Resolution Criteria

• YES if a public announcement is issued by the United States federal government (or on behalf of the U.S. government) stating new funding greater than $100,000,000 USD for quantum initiatives within two months of this market’s creation date.

• NO if no such public announcement meeting the criteria occurs within the specified timeframe.
