The layoffs.fyi site currently shows 30k layoffs in 2026. Additionally, Oracle alone announced 30k layoffs a few days ago.
@Hakari Yes, though from what I've heard the Oracle slack has lost about 11k users, so it may not be as big as reported, or maybe the rest will happen later
@spiderduckpig yeah true, the announcement could be a short term stock price boosting play before Q1 earnings.
