If an extraterrestrial civilization outside the Milky Way galaxy doesn't count, it would be more accurate to title this market: "Will humanity detect evidence of extraterrestrial, but not too extraterrestrial, intelligence before the year 2100?"

@StevenK Good point, I’ll extend it out to the Local Group. Any further out then that, they probably would have to be at least a strong Type 2 or Type 3 on the Kardashev scale, which should have been spotted a long time ago…
