Does the civilisation need to currently exist or would it be enough that they left some carvings and "massive amoeba-like creatures made out of iridescent black slime, with multiple eyes floating on the surface" behind that they had used to build their cities?

@SamuelRichardson Good question. The civilization could exist currently OR have existed in the ancient past. It just needs to be one we've never seen before
