Alberta has been pushing for a new pipeline to the BC coast, and has received some agreement from the federal government. However, I've seen a lot of discussion about this being essentially an empty promise, and that the pipeline will not happen, due to resistance from BC First Nations and environmentalists, and a lack of economic payoff.
Will pipeline construction actually start within BC borders before Jan 1, 2031?

The article does not seem to explicitly say that construction has started (and the photo is from 2023), so is not enough for an immediate YES resolution.
