Will US law deem Ethereum a security before Jan 1, 2030?

Resolves the same as the original on Metaculus.

Resolution criteria

The question resolves yes if:

• The US Congress passes a law which classifies Ethereum as a security

• A federal court decision states that Ethereum is a security

This market is managed by a bot. Once the original question resolves this market should automatically resolve the next time the bot is run.
